KILIFI TOWN TO GO WITHOUT WATER FOR 2 WEEKS

Residents in Kilifi Town will operate without water for a period of 14 days or more to pave way for opening up and upgrading of feeder roads.

The supply of water from Mabirikani storage tanks to Mweza Ng’ombe will be disconnected to avoid spillage during the construction of the roads.

Speaking during a press conference Kilifi, Mariakani water and sewage managing Director Mwamuye  Makupe on Thursday said  the company had resolved  to the disconnect so as to avoid wastage if the main water pipes are damaged.
