“I am not mtukufu” Uhuru tells senator


Kenyan president Uhurukenyatta on Tuesday told Kiambu senator Kimani wa Matangi , to stop using the word mtukufu rais (glorious president) when reffering to him. Terming the tittles as unwarranted, the star reports.
During the opening of new wards atGatundu Geneal hospital, Gatundu south Member of Parliament Jose Ngugi, was also told the same when he used the term mtukufu before asking for favours from the president.
“Ningependa kumwambia rafiki yangu Seneta Wamatangi ingawa mnanishikilia sana wacha nikupatie mawaidha kidogo ya kwamba hiyo mambo ya mtukufu rais tuliacaha zamani sana. (I want to tell my friend Senator Wamatangi that even though he supports me so much it is good to give him advice. We stopped giving presidents that title a long time ago). "We address each other now as His Excellency the President."

Kiss Tv will be no more in a few days to come. This is following huge losses made consequtively for four months. The Tv station owned by Radio Africa has been rendered helpless following the loses made. Consequently 40 employees from the station have been sacked.
It has been reported that the 40 employees were summoned for a brief meeting by the HumanResource Manager only to get dismissal letters accompanied by their termination pay cheques.
Among those that were shown the door  according to GHAFLA are, talented investigative journalist, Dennis Okari, whose expose, “Rape Gangs of Dandora” left the country agape. Another top talent who was relieved of his duties is accomplished actor, writer, journalist and television presenter, John Sibi Okumu (JSO).

meanwhile, Kiss TV will be replaced by Blaze TV, which will be unveiled very soon. Blaze TV will be an exclusively music and entertainment channel.
