Many of you will agree with me when I say, weddings are known for grand entries by the couples. Long luxurious convoy of vehicles is the common style in our country. Therefore it goes without say something else used; if not a car or a horse is way down the expected stunt.
It also seems there is more to these
stunts, more than just it being a
memorable moment. That is if the events of the recent past are anything to go
by.
Allow me to take you to Uganda
where a bride fainted after her fiancé arrived in a bodaboda. Jamawa Nambi, who
was ready to tie the knot with Ali Malik, cried before fainting when she learnt
that her man had arrived unaccompanied for the wedding in Wante village in Mayuge
District, Uganda.
Malik’s move caused a stir among
Namawa’s family members and friends. They wanted him sent away until he had
enough money for a decent means of transport.
