KENYA AVIATION WORKERS UNION ISSUES A STRIKE NOTICE TO THE KENYA AIRPORTS AUTHORITY

The Kenya Aviation workers union has issued a seven days ultimatum to the Kenya Airport Authority (KAA) demanding for the removal of the operations manager at Jomo Kenyatta airport.

Speaking a Mombasa hotel the secretary general of Kenya aviation of workers union said that the union is demanding for removal of Mr. Simon Kamau Njoroge, the operation manager at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for acting against the ethics and regulation towards two Aviation workers at the airport

 He further said failure by the management of Kenya Airport Authority to adhere to the ethics and regulations that coexist between the two has resulted to harassment of the Aviation workers.


The secretary general termed the acts of the operation manager as dangerous to the aviation workers and the general public. The union threatened that failure to adhere to the ultimatum will result to the closing down to the operations in all airports in the country as from Tuesday next week.
