WE WANT "PESA MASHULENI"- KNUT

The Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) has called upon the government and national leaders to invest more in the education sector.
Speaking at Ronald Gideon Ngala Primary in Mombasa while celebrating the 20th Teachers day the union’s chairman Mudzo Nzili urged the leaders to stop chasing selfish political gains which do not benefit the local mwananchi.
He said the referendum push was ill timed and inappropriate. Adding that the union will only support the “pesa mashinani campaign if only there will be “pesa mashuleni” as the education sector lacks adequate infrastructure.
Through a universal message read by the union’s chairman, the secretary general Wilson Sossion said that investing in the education sector is investment in knowledge and true wisdom which results into formation and transformation of individuals for the benefit of a holistic society sensitive to nature, environment and beneficial industrialization.
