Police have arrested a man at Tezo in kilifi county for
allegedly attempting to kill his father. Area police boss Justin Nyaga said the
suspect was handed over to officers at the Tezo administration police camp by
his relatives.
It is said the two had a heated argument which resulted into a fight. The situation could have gone from bad to worse were it not for quick actions from the relatives,who brought the two to sanity.
The father said the dispute arose after his son harvested
coconut belonging to his family,sold them, and used the money to buy coconut
wine.
The man will appear in court today.
